Family Online Safety
Simple steps every UK family can take to stay safer online.
Three Habits
1. Set a family password
A word only your family knows. If someone calls claiming to be a relative in trouble, ask for the password first.
2. Talk about scams openly
Make it a normal topic. Children and grandparents who know what a scam looks like are less likely to fall for one.
3. Slow down
Every scam relies on urgency. If someone pressures you to act fast, that is the red flag.
